It was “Duel” week on Dancing On Ice in week 3 with the ten couples matched against each other in five individual duels. The duelling couples skated together with the winner decided by the judges. Each winning couple is guaranteed a place in next week’s show, with the losers going into the public telephone vote. The duellists were matched by pairing the same positions in the leaderboard from week 1 and week 2.
Duel 1 was Matt Lapinskas and Brianne Delcourt versus Gareth Thomas and Robin Johnstone. They skated to The Devil Went Down To Georgia. It was a 4-0 win for Matt Lapinskas who was through to next week’s show. Gareth Thomas will have to rely on the audience vote.
