Ashley is the third cast member from Hollyoaks to take part in Strictly: Ali Bastian and Ricky Whittle being the other two. He has played the role of Darren Osborne since 1999. He was also part of the chart topping pop band allSTARS who achieved a top ten success with the Bucks Fizz cover Land of Make Believe.
Ashley seems comfortable in daring costumes as he has appeared in a number of the ‘Hollyoaks Hunks’ calendars.
Born in Wilmslow, Ashely is married to Karen and together they have a son, Buddy Mac. The couple are expecting their second child in September.
