Week 3 Strictly Come Dancing goes to Hollywood! A wonderful opportunity for dressing up to the nines and the Strictly Come Dancing Fashion Police have been busy awarding their Oscars:
Couple of the Week: Denise Van Outen and James Jordan. Score 8.
They dressed as Jess and Woody from Toy Story. The outfit and theme suited this cheeky couple who interpreted it with great va-va-voom. We have already opened a book on them winning the Title!

Costume of the Week: Nicky Byrne. Score 7.
We all loved him dressed as Jim Carey in The Mask. Maybe he’s one of those people who likes to hide behind a character. And those teeth! The girls adore him.

Surprise of the Week: Fern Britton. Score 6.
Looked fabulous as Mary Poppins doing the Charleston. She’s lost weight. A great opener to the show and she deserves a medal for using that umbrella.

Fashion Disaster of the Week: Sid Owen. Score 3.
More like “Last of the Mohicans” than rock god in that outfit. He needed a bow and arrow to complete. Ola’s choreography was a disaster. We all felt for him as he looked so upset.

Blooper of the Week: Victoria Pendleton. Score 5.
She looked wonderful interpreting Officer and Gentleman with Brendan Cole in blue slinky number with floating bits, which unfortunately were her downfall. She’s a lovely girl and we are willing her on to do better. Brendan seems very supportive which is nice.

Most Fun of the Week: Lisa Riley and Robin Windsor. Score 8.
WOW. Dynamic Dick Tracy dance which they performed brilliantly. Must be hard to dress Lisa but she has started to show some leg as she loses weight. Her costume was full of razzmatazz and we all love her.

It was the most entertaining week so far and I can’t finish without mentioning Michael Vaughan. He is such a super guy and deserves an Oscar for trying. He’s brought a new meaning to Dad Dancing and we love him for it.
